Illustration gives depth and personality to any project - hand drawing humanizes, creates a softness and character that speaks to the market in a way that digital graphics cannot . Animation takes it to the next level - using my pal Christopher Paz and his company C-PAZ DESIGNS, we are a team (Mello Paz!) that works together to pair my illustration with his animation to create dynamic movement that stands out. My favorite project was getting selected to illustrate an Electric BCycle in partnership with the Nashville Public Library— you can find a fleet of them for rent, riding around Nashville!
If I could draw and paint all day… I would. I can illustrate absolutely anything for you… just say the word.
Creating engaging and compelling visual messaging through photo shoots, graphics and digital assets is important for defining who you are and what's important to remember in the minds of your stakeholders...and keeping it there. [Design + Content]
Consistent branding goes beyond a logo. It is a look and feel, style, approach and vision that carries through to permeate into the community for instant recognition and appreciation. [Land Trust logo design by the wonderful Locomotion Creative]
Website production, management, content and copywriting, execution, maintenance, research and photo editing. My main focus is a format that creates digestible blocks of information with options to dive deeper. [Wordpress + Square Space. Land Trust Website created with the help of Locomotion Creative]
Sourcing, trend reporting, producing photo shoots, working with public relations teams to create compelling pages for monthly magazines
My favorite project of 2022 is being selected as one of three local artists that got to create original art printed on the “Art Bikes,” for the ART, BIKES & BOOKS program a partnership with Nashville BCycle, the Arts and Business Council and our public libraries. Look for my bikes circulating around the eBike stations in parks and where you check out your faovrite books!
I love that both small and enterprise businesses are embracing the fact that art attracts people, represents company culture, and just makes everyone smile ... whats better for biz? Or would you like to help fund a community project unifying Nashville and lifting up future artists? Who’s wall is next?
When talented interior designer McLean Barbieri asked if I'd be up for creating six presidential portraits for each room of the new modern meets historic Germantown Inn -- I said, "OH YES!"
And the result turned out more exciting than we ever imagined. These aren't your ordinary portraits... each has a lot of significant meaning and detail elements the closer you look. LEARN MORE from the feature in Nashville Arts Magazine. Since this project, a series of new portrait commissions took on a life of its own. Email me for more information on commissions.
Pop Up Printmaking is a community project I started during the pandemic. I created a system that was easily transportable and could be high functioning on the street or in any location. After a number of surprise pop ups, The Frist Art Museum invited me to accompany my good friend Elisheba Israel Mrozik, Queen Been Ink , for her Blood at the Root Exhibit. Carving one source block and creating 200 + free prints to give out to community members was a way of bringing people together with a common thread, creating a moment and getting to learn more about each individual.
Editorial, press releases, collateral, copywriting, website content and blogging...it's all important to an integrated and strategic communications plan.
